Being right on the Hollywood 'Walk of Fame' this hotel cannot be beaten for it's location. Universal Studios, Farmers Market, Beverly Hills, Dodger Stadium and Downtown L.A. are close by. This hotel was host to the first Academy Awards in 1929 and there is an extensive exhibit on the history of the Hollywood film industry on the second floor of the hotel. (0606/CH)

The hand painted decorative ceilings & wrought iron grill work that distinguish the 'Spanish Style' architecture in the lobby has recently been restored. A lounge and bar area is also located in the lobby.

The hotel is a traditional multi-story, grand white building with arched windows.
