generalThere are over 1,700 Buddhist temples, 300 Shinto shrines, palaces and gardens,
and some of Japan's top museums and galleries located in this city. Any guest
will enjoy the combination of the new and old, which this city has to offer,
and by staying at a ryokan gives the extra special atmosphere that Kyoto has to

lobbyThe lobby is small size with some seating area overlooking a beautiful bamboo grove.
exteriorThere are two Japanese traditional buildings with a bamboo grove.
restaurantDinners are served privately in the guest rooms from 17:30 to 19:30. The same
for breakfast, served from 07:30 to 09:00.The latest check in time is 19:30 to
be sure to have dinner.
roomsThe rooms are Japanese style rooms only, with no beds. By day, the rooms are
furnished with a low table and zabuton floor cushions on Japanese straw tatami
mats. There is also a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. By
night, the room is transformed with Japanese futons to a sleeping area.All
accommodation includes Japanese dinner and breakfast.
locationThe ancient capital of Japan for over 1,000 years, Kyoto remains the most
historically important city in Japan. Although there is so much to see and do
in Kyoto, even a short-time visitor can soon get an appreciation of what this
ancient capital has to offer. This ryokan is right in the centre of Kyoto and
just front of the front of Yasaka shrine.
