The supremely elegant atmosphere of this hotel ensures this hotel is surely one of the best properties in Kyoto. The hotel offers excellent service and although located in a quiet traditional residential area of Kyoto, is convenient for both business and sightseeing. (0908YY)

The atrium-style lobby is sun-filled and tastefully decorated with plenty of natural light and greenery. All the rooms are arranged on six floors around a rectangular corridor overlooking the hotel's atrium. There are plenty of staff on hand to help with queries and plenty of seating space to one side with a comfortable coffee lounge and restaurants leading off from the lobby. This large open space is often used for intimate concerts and exhibitions by local artists and craftsmen.

The hotel offers a French, Chinese and Japanese restaurants, a Japanese grill, a bar, breakfast room and terrace restaurant.

The guest rooms are very large and spacious with a homely atmosphere. They offer excellent service. A feature of the hotel is the alkaline balanced mineral water, produced for all guests good for health and also for nourishing skin and luxurious bathing. The hotel has a choice of guest rooms, all comfortably furnished, with a good range of facilities. Bathrooms are quite spacious, beautifully decorated and in excellent condition.

The hotel is located a 15-minutes away from Kyoto Station. The hotel also can be accessed by subway. It is located in a peaceful area of the city with the world famous Nijo Castle, the Nishijin textile district and the Kyoto Imperial Palace with its vast, forest-like grounds, all a brief walk from the hotel. A shuttle bus is available between Imadegawa subway station(No.4 Exit) and the hotel.
