generalThe hotel is an ideal base for a trip to nearby Shiretoko and Abashiri National Parks, Kushiro Marshlands National Park, and Furano district. The hotel also offers nine-hole putting golf course, tennis courts, as well as rental bikes during spring to autumn. Karaoke rooms and table tennis room are also available throughout the year. lobbyThe lobby is medium in size and clean with some sitting areas. There is also a tea lounge attached to the lobby.
exteriorIt is a modern, white 8-story building facing the Lake Kussharo.
restaurantThe hotel has only a restaurant for daily hot buffet breakfast and dinner throughout the year. There are additional two restaurants open only from June to September.
roomsThe rooms are large in size, located at the corners of the building, providing with the magnificent view of Lake Kussharo. They are all equipped with modern facilities like a television, direct dial telephone, refrigerator and hair dryer. (No internet access is available from all rooms.) The room has en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi and separate toilet. They are all kept clean and in good condition.
locationThe hotel is located in the Akan National Park, in eastern Hokkaido, amid the breath-taking scenery of volcanic peaks, some caldera lakes, and extensive forests. This particular hotel stands on the shore of Lake Kussharo, one of the largest lakes in Japan. From Kushiro Airport, it takes about 2 hours drive and 1hour from Memanbetsu Airport. The nearest train station is JR Mashu Station on JR Kushiro Honsen Line and it takes about 25 minutes from this station to the hotel by taxi.
