generalThis wonderful old hotel will appeal to those looking for a truly traditional property, steeped in history. Entering the character suites really is like stepping back in time. RY0608
lobbyThe lobby, with it's polished marble floor creates a wonderful first impression of the hotel, it's elegant grand staircase forming a delightful centrepiece.
exteriorThis magnificent old hotel's grand exterior blends beautifully in the the neighbouring historical buildings.
restaurantThe restaurant is grand and ornate with a high ceiling with attractive mouldings and beautiful original art on the walls.
roomsThese suites are very classic in their design and decoration. The won't appeal to everyone as they are unashamedly traditional, with lots of floral patterns, heavy, old furniture and gilt light fittings. They give the rooms a lovely, homely feel, however, entirely in keeping with this historical hotel's character.
