The hotel is situated within 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Kilkenny city and is located in the rural tranquillity of 5 acres of parkland and landscaped gardens.

The character-filled Rosehill Bar, with all the old world charm of Rosehill House, is a real favourite with both guests and locals. Live music at the weekend adds a wonderful atmosphere, while it is the perfect spot for a relaxing morning coffee, quick and tasty lunch or light dinner. The bar also boasts an attractive garden with gas heaters.

The hotel is very traditional and is built around the restored 19th century home of architect Sir William Robertson. The hotel has a large conservatory at the front.

The lobby is small but spacious as the seats and tables are located against the walls. The decor is dark but attractive.
