exteriorSituated on 32 acres of gardens, woods, a pond and 8 tennis courts. There is an adult and children's game centers, miles of biking and hiking trails lead from the Inn up into the mountains. The 96 room resort is all under one roof and has two stories with terraces and balconies.
lobbyThe Inn has two lobbies with fireplaces. One is an art gallery and the other a library where coffee, tea and fresh baked goods are served daily at 4.30pm.
generalThe Cortina Inn and Resort is well located for the area attractions. The hotel offers complimentary afternoon tea, indoor pool and exercise room. There is a gallery, games, ping pong or pool to play. Outdoors there are trails for walking or biking with a Tennis Center and a fly fishing school offering lessons. (JB 04/2006)
restaurantZola's Grill offers an elegant cozy atmosphere with New England, Italian and Indian style cuisine, with a full-time, on-site baker. Theodore's Tavern offers more casual atmosphere with a simpler menu with burgers, pastas and salads as well as a children's menu.

By Air, the nearest major gateway is Burlington International Airport, 65 miles to the north with limited service via Boston's Logan Airport into Rutland State Airport with is 14 miles from the Inn. Rental cares are available at both airports. By train or bus, Amtrak serves Rutland as does Vermont Transit bus. By car, the Inn is roughly 250 miles from New York City, 158 miles from Boston, 166 miles from Hartford Connecticut and 184 miles from Montreal.
