This hotel has an excellent location; 2 minutes walk from the bustling shopping pedestrian street where there are numerous shops/cafes and with excellent links to the airport and railway station.
rooms
Rooms are all medium in size but vary in standard. Standard rooms are in fair condition, while the renovated superior rooms are in very good condition. Decorated in dark pale colours, the rooms are functional.
restaurant
The large restaurant is very eastern european in style. It has a low ceiling and wooden floor, but is adequate and popular with local clientale due to the vast array of dishes on offer.
exterior
This is a large 9 storey concrete strucure reniniscent of the soviet era. Set back from the road (making it ideal for coaches) the hotel is an imposing structure.
lobby
The medium/large lobby has a low ceiling, but is bright and decorated in white. The large reception is to the back left of the lobby with a small seating area to the back right.
general
This is certainly not a luxurious hotel but nevertheless offers very acceptable functional facilities and a good location. Ideal for the budget traveller. KM0905
