The hotel located 7 miles from the Lihue Airport on historic Wailua Bay, ancient playground to Kauai's royalty. The resort is adjacent to Lydgate Park, the island's safest swimming and best snorkling beach.

The Junior suite features one king bed, plus double sofa bed. Mauve-colored kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and serving ware. Sliding glass floor-to-ceiling window opens to Juliet balcony (not sit-down) trimmed with wrought-iron railings. Refrigerator, video game console, pay movies, and dial-up Internet access.
restaurant
The resort's main restaurant has a striking ceiling comprised of two upswept sections resembling side-by-side lifeboats. Serving a breakfast buffet and dinners featuring local fish and prime rib, the restaurant offers both inside and terrace seating. On Friday nights it's converted into Kauai's largest nightclub.
