The lobby is small and decorated with various traditional handicraft items, and a corridor leads to the main bar. The family who owns the traditional house will welcome you in a variety of European languages.
exterior
It is a 19th century grade listed rural townhouse, completely restored its original glory and beyond in 2007. All the original elements such as stone masonry walls, wooden beams and the terra-cotta roof are preserved.
restaurant
The main bar and breakfast area is on the ground floor. The original stone and wood features of the house are visible and create a warm atmosphere, where guests can enjoy their breakfast, coffee or refreshment.
rooms
The rooms are small to medium, luxuriously furnished and decorated in antique furniture, embroidered curtains and bed sheets as well as wrought iron beds. The well thought out interior design respects traditional forms but also offers a varied range of modern amenities, such as flat screen satellite TV, hi speed internet connection, air conditioning and other. All rooms have a cozy fireplace plus central heating.
location
This traditional townhouse is located in Kastraki, a quiet district of Kalambaka just on the foot of the Holy Rocks of Meteora. The town center is within easy reach on foot or by taxi. Kastraki is a residential area that is being undergoing a rejuvenation process in the past few years, with many houses and public areas restored to their 19th century grandeur, turning it into an area of major architectural interest.
