The Rantasipi Laajavuori is set outside the town of Jyvaskyla amidst beautiful surroundings. As well as the large lake next to which the hotel stands, dense forests stretch for miles around in this area which is famous for producing world-class rally drivers. A short distance from the hotel there is a ski jump centre and other skiing facilities.
rooms
The rooms are small in size and in very good condition. They come in a variety of shapes as a result of the hotels 'curved letter e design'. They are quite simple in the way they are furnished, but highly modern and very smart. The bathrooms are also in very good condition.
restaurant
The restaurant is a large room, quite simple in its decoration, but with warm and bright colours.
general
This is a good product set in a fantastic part of Finland.
lobby
The reception is part of a large open-plan lobby, with ample seating.
exterior
The building itself is a very large modern grey complex.
