generalThis property has benefited from a 60's glam style soft renovation of it's furnishings, whilst maintaining the original stone features of the building. It enjoys an excellent location, being very close to the main town of Mykonos. A welcome drink, bottle of wine and fresh fruit is offered on arrival. lobbyThe reception area is of a good size and is furnished with modern furniture. The walls and flooring are bare stone, adding to the rustic feel of the property.
exteriorThe building is a low rise structure, built in the 60's and designed by the highly acclaimed architect Aris Kostantinides. It sits in its own lush gardens.
restaurantThe restaurant is just off the reception area and its comfortable. The views from the restaurant are excellent.
roomsThe rooms are spread out amongst the gardens and are accessed via walk ways from the main building. The rooms are of a good size and decorated in a contemporary minimalist design using strong bright colours and light beech wood furniture influenced by the style of the 60's. The flooring is made up of bare flagstones with the occasional rug on it. Room facilities include air conditioning, mini bar, safety deposit box, satellite television, telephone, internet access and mini-hifi. Slippers, bathroobes, pool towels and deluxe toiletries are provided in the bathroom. Rooms have garden views.
locationThis property is located on the hill right next to the windmills, that look down across the bay of Mykonos town and is indeed just a short walk from the many winding streets and alleys that make up this idyllic island town. It is just a 5 minute drive from the airport.
