The island many sights, notably Bird Island/Isla de Pajaros, and a natural phenomenon called "ojo de agua" (literally waterhole, are springs rising from the ocean floor which create an oasis of fresh water ideal for swimming) are a must. Isla Pajaros is the nesting ground for magnificent frigates, cormorants and other water birds, though the entire island is a bird watcher and nature lover's paradise.
