generalThis is a fantastic location for a hotel, close to the famous giant Kauri tree forests and also to 90 miles beach. The Bay of islands is only an hour and a half away by car. Hokianga harbour is an attraction in its own right. This is the departure point for two now world famous tours; "Footprints" a Maori tour to the giant Kauri trees and "Crossings" a harbour and township tour covering European and Maori history and the natural environment.
