exteriorAn historical building from the turn of the 20th Century. Extensively renovated in 2004. Building is two storeys and in white colonial style weatherboard. There is large sun deck areas, gardens and an outdoor swimming pool area.
restaurantThe Bryers room restaurant is open for breakfast and evening meals. They serve a selection of regional cuisine and try to source as much product locally as they can, including the freshest local seafood. The house speciality is fresh Crayfish (Rock lobster) This is a must have at this hotel.

generalThis is a fantastic location for a hotel, close to the famous giant Kauri tree forests and also to 90 miles beach. The Bay of islands is only an hour and a half away by car. Hokianga harbour is an attraction in its own right. This is the departure point for two now world famous tours; "Footprints" a Maori tour to the giant Kauri trees and "Crossings" a harbour and township tour covering European and Maori history and the natural environment.
