generalThis is a superior tourist class, 3 star property. The hotel also has private meeting rooms, a 24 hour business centre and complimentary shuttle bus travelling certain routes. This hotel is recommended to the individual business and leisure traveller. (KC Sep08)
lobbyThe lobby is small with a high ceiling and black marble flooring. The tall floor-to-ceiling glass windows give a nice view of lively Hollywood Road. The reception counter is small and simple.
exteriorThis is a 25-storey modern high-rise.
restaurantThere is one restaurant located on the mezzanine floor, which is medium in size with a simple set up. The restaurant has a balcony which also functions as a lounge, where one can enjoy cocktails and wines. The menu has a nice small selection of Western dishes and some Asian specialties including a self service continental breakfast.
roomsRooms are medium in size and are decorated in a simple yet very homely style with modern light colours. The bathrooms are small and have a shower cubicle. Both rooms and shower cubicles are in good condition. 85% of the rooms have a nice view of the garden. The rooms are equipped with modern facilities including broadband internet, LCD flat screen television, cable channels, minibar, tea/coffeemaking facilities and in-room safety deposit box. Non-smoking floors are available.
locationThis hotel is located in the Central district on Hong Kong Island on lively Hollywood Road, which is well known for its antique markets. It is conveniently five to 10 minutes walk to the Sheung Wan Subway (MTR) and the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal, International Finance Center, Soho and Lan Kwai Fong dining and entertainment areas.
