The rooms are located in a modern wing to the rear of the original historic "Castle" building in which all the public areas can be found. They are medium sized and in really beautiful condition having recently enjoyed a full renovation which saw them upgraded and decorated in modern style. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
restaurant
The breakfast room is in the lower ground floor in a superbly atmospheric cellar-like room with attractive vaulted ceiling and other period features which have been beautifully restored.
exterior
This hotel is quite a local focal point, resembling a gothic castle though it was actually built towards the start of the last century.
lobby
The lobby is small and cosy and benefits from a host of period features including a gorgeous, high, vaulted ceiling.
general
This landmark hotel has just benefitted from a comprehensive renovation. It is now a really spectacular property.
location
This hotel is located in the city centre, just a short walk from the sights and shopping.
