locationThe hotel is located opposite the Esplanade Park, in the finest shopping area and pedestrian zone in the heart of Helsinki. The port and main market is just a five minute walk, as is the central railway station.
roomsThe rooms are all very large (approximetely 32 square metres) and in exceptional condition with modern amenities. The colour scheme is pastel yellow with pine fittings, and traditional gold patterned curtains with lavish period touches in keeping with the grandest of hotels. The bathrooms have a separate shower and bath, all in marble and of exceptional quality.
restaurantThe brasserie has a trendy open kitchen offering a buffet and specialities and is located just to the right of the lobby. The hotel also has a bar serving drinks and light snacks, and a patio is open during spring and summer.
exteriorAfter faithful restoration, this hotel is the first truly deluxe hotel in the Nordic countries. It is regarded as one of the most valued historic buildings in Helsinki.
lobbyThe hotel has an impressive entrance, opening up into the deluxe interior of the lobby, which offers a lovely relaxed and informal atmosphere.
