This is a typical Swiss chalet style building with quaint carved wood facade.

The hotel has an Italian restaurant which is popular with both locals and visitors. The restaurant has a terrace with Eiger views that can be enjoyed in fine weather.
rooms
The rooms are surprising large and furnished with much higher quality furnishings than one might expect of a simple 03star property. They have a decor which is a nice mixture of modern and rustic and are in very good condition, as are the bathrooms.
location
This hotel is located right in the centre of Grindelwald on the little main road that runs through the village. The hotel is located close to the first stage gondola.
