A tourist class property that provides good value for money accommodation on the world largest resort. The rooms with a view are the best value. 06/08FW
lobby
The lobby is huge and the concept of checking in is via taking a number and waiting for your number to be flashed on the board. While waiting, guest can take a seat. A little different from normal hotel check ins procedures but it provides the most efficient way to expedite check in.
exterior
The huge monolithic block fronts the theme park and lake - superior outward facing rooms provide, when the clouds and weather permits, excellent views of the entire Genting Resort as well as, for the nature lover, views of the surrounding primary forest and hills. The building is accented with splashes of various bright colours such as yellow, green, red, orange, purple and blues that distinguishes it from the rest of the buildings.
restaurant
Located within the resort are more than 80 food and beverage outlets catering to every taste and whims. From fast food to continental fine dining.
rooms
There are two categories for Deluxe room, face an air well in the interior of the building and Deluxe View room give great views of the resort or the surrounding hills. Deluxe room has very standard facilities, while deluxe view room has mini bar, tea & cofee maker and kettle. But both rooms has internet access. Water is available at common points along the corridor. The weather is cool all year round so rooms are non air conditioned but a ceiling fan is provided. Bathrooms are with 2 facilities with standing shower and toilet.
location
Located on the peak of the world's largest resort complex of Genting Highlands, the First World hotel is the world's largest with 6,000 rooms. Adjoined to the First World Plaza, which boasts 500,000 sq feet of indoor theme park, shopping centre and food galore.
