Rooms are quite basic but they are clean, comfortable, brightly decorated and well-maintained, making them an excellent low-cost base from which to explore Funchal and Madeira island.

Located in an elevated position with lovely views overlooking the Bay of Funchal. Vila Camacho is in a residential district, about 2km from the city centre, which is roughly 25 minutes away on foot and 5 minutes away by bus.
