The sophisticated Pestana Palms Aparthotel is situated on the sea front, offering a wonderful ocean view to all rooms. The hotel is located in Funchal`s hotel district on a cliff top close to the ocean and just a 20 minutes walk from the centre of the town and approximately 25 minutes car drive from Madeira`s International Airport.

All rooms are equipped with private bathroom (with bathtub and shower), balconies (all with sea views), radio, cable TV (channels in English, Portuguese, German, French and Spanish), direct-dial telephone, kitchenette, and safe deposit box (available for hire).
restaurant
The restaurant is in the modern building nearby the sea. The "A Flor do Mar Restaurant", where guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast or the occasional themed dinners with live music, admiring the breath-taking view over the Atlantic. The Pool Restaurant offers daily barbecues and a range of snacks by the sea and close to the fantastic swimming pool (open from 12.30 to 14.30).

Onsite facilities include a heated swimming pool with sun decks and an integrated area for children, a Diving Club and School,plus a Games Room with Snooker. There is also a health club with sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, gymnasium and massage (massage against fee). Rooms are being refurbished floor by floor with a expected date for completition of end of February 2009. This will not be of disturbance to any guests as hardly any noise is expected. DDS 08/08.
