This hotel is an excellent property in an ideal location. In addition, there is a roof terrace and a quiet spacious courtyard/garden area where guests can relax in a peaceful and serene environment. The hotel also has a car park.
lobby
The lobby is large with the reception desk situated at the far end. It is furnished in a modern style, but simple.
exterior
The hotel is composed of two buildings. The original building of a Renaissance period palace was designed by the famous architect Cosimo Bartoli. The hotel contains an annex which is directly opposite the older building. Rooms in both buildings are identical in terms of standard and comfort.
rooms
The large rooms are in apartment style, and some of them have also a built-in kitchen area, which can be used upon advanced request and with payment on the spot. The rooms contain large armchairs and tables. The floors are ceramic tiled Cotto style. Both the rooms and bathrooms are in good condition.
location
The hotel is situated very close to Piazza Dell'Indipendenza and the Fortezza da Basso. It is just a ten-minute walk from Florence's principal tourist attraction, the Duomo.
