generalThis is an ideal, centrally located hotel. The hotel has no bar but an adequate lounge area where alcoholic drinks and refreshments are served. (BL 04/2006)
lobbyThe hotel lobby is small in size and is also very traditional with a few seats and a reception desk. The decor is quite bright and welcoming.
exteriorThis is a traditional, 4 storey building with small balconies in front of the second floor windows. The building is made of grey brick and has a small entrance.
restaurantThe hotel restaurant is very big with large windows at the front and it serves breakfast only.
roomsThe hotel bedrooms, all of which are en suite, have facilities including tv, hairdryer and telephone. Each bedroom is individually designed with an emphasis on the Victorian era and the decor is very basic. The rooms are in good condition, especially the executive clan tartan rooms. The standard rooms in the main building are located over 4 floors including lower ground.
