A small, friendly hotel with character located in one of Edinburgh's most impressive Georgian terraces. This is one of the best 3 star hotels in the city. MT-07/06

The lobby area is small and traditional in design. The reception desk is dark wood and the original tiles laid when the hotel was built form the floor

The hotel has one restaurant which is traditional in design as well as a small bar area. The bar was originally a drawing room and has dark wood panelling. All of the public areas are furnished to a very high standard indeed. The bar area has many pictures of international rugby teams (6 nations) and is warm and cosy
rooms
The rooms are of a very good standard and are traditional. The decor is warm pinks and greens. The bathrooms have been modernised and re-tiled

This hotel is situated in a lovely area in the west end of Edinburgh only a short 10 minute walk from Princes Street and other places of interest. The hotel is located close to Haymarket station
