This is an excellent central hotel, but has limited car parking spaces available. Car park need to be paid at reception. Overall this is an excellent property with a great central location.

exteriorThe hotel is a converted university and is a modern building with attractive surroundings.
restaurantThe hotel has a rooftop restaurant with stunning views across Edinburgh. It is long and thin but in an excellent location with the hotel.
roomsThe executive rooms are larger in size and are kept in very good condition along with the bathrooms. Rooms are all similar, bright and spacious. A number of rooms are tailored for disabled guests. Rooms have excellent facilities for business travellers and include plasma screen. Executive rooms offer guests dressing gown and slippers!
locationThe hotel is located in the centre of town a few minutes from the rail and bus terminal along a main road. The hotel can be found in the heart of the famous Grassmarket, with its charming shops, restaurants and quaint pubs. This is an excellent location as Edinburgh Castle is opposite, providing great views from the hotel bedrooms.
