The Royal Ascot is located in the Bur Dubai district of Dubai. Dubai Airport is close by, and it is just a 10-minute drive from Sk Zayed Road. T he Burjuman Shopping Centre is just five minutes away. The hotel is ideally located for visiting the local attractions and for the number of bars in the vicinity.
general
This new hotel can be regarded as an extension of an already extremely popular property; however, it is of higher quality, with added facilities. WiFi Internet runs throughout the hotel, and the top floor offers a host of recreational facilities that includes an outdoor pool, steam and sauna rooms and a unisex gymnasium.
lobby
The large marble lobby is elegant and well appointed. A classical staircase is found upon entering the hotel, with the reception to the right and ample seating found throughout the lobby.
exterior
The newly built 174-room hotel is modern and is connected at the ground floor to its sister property, the Ascot Hotel.
restaurant
The Royal Ascot has three restaurants: a 24-hour coffee shop and a lunch bar, although in-house clients have access to the Ascot Hotel, which famous for its food and beverage outlets, including Waxy O'Connors, one of the most popular bars in the city among Anglophiles. There is also a Japanese, Russian and Irish restaurant in the hotel. Attached to the hotel is the 350-seater Dubai Music Hall Amphitheatre, which is unique to the city.
rooms
All the 2-bedroom suites are good in size and well appointed, with each suite having a comfortable sitting area. Although these rooms are suitable for corporate guests, they are decorated to a high standard, with a more personal touch than can be found in many chain hotels in Dubai. This room type cannot accommodate twins beds, as they are all king-sized doubles.
