The hotel offers an excellent and convenient location, situated on the main road to the south of Ireland, overlooking the lush, green acres of the university college campus. The city centre is a short train or taxi ride and can be reached in 10-15 minutes.

All bedrooms are large to medium in size and in good condition. The rooms have been decorated with an emphasis on comfort and relaxation, and the decor consists of soft creams and peaches or rich shades of blue and gold. The bathrooms are furnished in white marble.

The Belfield room offers superb cuisine, ranging from traditional fare to international dishes. The restaurant's reputation for elegance is matched by the graciousness of its decor, comprising of warm, rich colours and ornate drapes.
