This is one of Copenhagen's best budget focused hotels in terms of rooms, facilities and location.
lobby
The lobby is medium in size with a small reception. The hotel dining room is located to one side of the reception providing ample seating if required.
exterior
Centrum is a traditional Copenhagen building with five floors. It has a whitewashed facade with large windows.
restaurant
The restaurant, which is located on the ground floor is used only to serve breakfast which is a typical hearty Scandinavian start to the day.
rooms
Rooms are basic though very well maintained with good amenities and comfortable beds. Since it is an old building, the rooms vary in size and shape, many with high ceilings. All rooms are decorated in a contemporary Danish style with warm natural colour schemes.
location
As one of the best budget focused hotels in the centre of town, Centrum is located only a five minute walk from Copenhagen Central Station, Tivoli Gardens, the main shopping street and the Town Hall Square. The location, which is formerly a red light district, has been cleaned up exceptionally well and is now a trendy area in which to live, with many bars, coffee shops and restaurants. DGI-Byen, Copenhagen's famous leisure centre is only five minutes away on foot.
