locationThe hotel is situated south of Colchester England's oldest recorded town. Stanstead airport is only 24 miles from the hotel and Harwich International is a 20-mile drive. The hotel is situated set back from the main A12. Close enough to be convenient far enough away to be quiet.
generalThe hotel also has a health and leisure club featuring a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms and outdoor tennis courts. This is a nice hotel ideal for any type of guest. PH 0504
lobbyThe hotel lobby is medium in size and is quite bright with red walls and silk drapes. There is plenty of Space for groups and luggage, but very few seats. There is also a small reception desk and chandeliers.
exteriorThis is a modern, 2-storey building with a large entrance.
restaurantThe hotel restaurant is quite modern and provides a good selection of International cuisine, complimented by an extensive wine list and comfortable surroundings.
roomsEach of the 110 rooms is en-suite and has been carefully designed with comfort in mind. The rooms are medium in size and in good condition with trouser press, hairdryer and 24 hour room service. The decor consists of floral furnishings and elegant lamps and rugs.
