Located in the centre of Cairns, on the Esplanade, overlooking Trinity harbour and the Reef Fleet terminal, the departure point for Great Barrier Reef Cruises. Opposite the shopping centre, very close to the Casino and a short walk to the new Esplanade Lagoon, with waterside walkway and parklands.

Rooms are large and well maintained, with all modern facilities - irons and ironing board, tea/coffee makers, free in-house movies, and a free digital in-room safe. They are kept in a good condition, along with bathrooms, which have a bath with an overhead shower and hair dryer. Rooms have a balcony and great views.
restaurant
The hotel is home to the Bushfire Flame and Grill, which offers a unique dining experience with char grilled, locally sourced beef, and seafood. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also located within the hotel is Sugarcane Rhumbar, a tapas style bar.
