lobbyBright and airy, this medium size lobby has high ceilings, wooden floor and a wide wood reception desk. There are seats for guests to relax in when checking in.
exteriorA beautiful colonial hotel, the Galle Face is 3 storeys tall, painted white and surrounded by palm trees.
restaurantThe hotel has a choice of two restaurants, one is in the hotel gardens at the front of the hotel and has views of the Indian ocean and is famous for its seafood; the other restaurant inside the hotel serves a la carte international cuisine and has an excellent wine menu.
roomsDeluxe rooms are upgraded sea view rooms still located in the Classic (or original) wing. These rooms have managed to maintain all of their colonial charm whilst offering all of the modern facilities. The rooms have original wooden floors and large comfortable beds. Each room has satellite TV, writing desk, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, air-conditioning and a 24-hour room service.
