The hotel has been voted the best hotel in Northern Thailand. It can be used as a base for activities like racing down the Mekong in long-tail boats, trekking through the jungle on elephants, mountain biking down steep winding trails, walking among hill tribes or purchasing local cottage industry handicrafts. An extension to Chiangrai Town with only 45 minutes' drive.

The open air lobby is medium in size with an ample seating area. A touch and charming of Northern Thai style decorations are given gorgeously and warmly to visitors. Guests are welcomed in traditional Thai style called Bai Sri Su Kwan, a ceremony where guests are blessed with lustral water and cotton string tied at their wrists by elderly people.
