locationLocated on 5 acres of land, opposite Hagley park, the Botanic gardens. There is a 15 minute walk through the park and beside the Avon river to get to the city centre. Hotel has a complimentary shuttle to city centre between 08:00-19:30 during the week and 10:00-19:00 on weekends. The hotel will also drop clients off at the TranzAlpine railway station.
roomsThe rooms are large And of good quality. Rooms have beauty products, footspa and garden view. Tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar, iron and ironing board. This room type also includes full breakfast each morning.
restaurantThe Garden Court Brasserie is a bright sun room which opens on to the rose gardens offering al fresco dining at its best. This Brasserie is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. "The Den of the Little Red Foxes" is an English style pub perfect for that pre-dinner drink or just for relaxing and unwinding.
exteriorLow rise chateau style. Lots of character. Delightful central gardens and pool area.
lobbyThis is medium size and has plenty of seating. Staff are very helpful.
generalA property with real character There is golf putting green on hotel grounds as well as extensive gardens and an outdoor swimming pool and spa pool. A brand new gym has opened and a spa pool. Nearby there is a 9 hole golf course in Hagley Park. Tennis courts are also close by. Bikes available for hire. This is probably the best value hotel in the city. SE0509
