lobbyThe lobby area is medimum and stylish with an impressive marbled floor and stairs leading to the conservatory.
generalThe cocktail bar conveys a pleasant surrounding with a varied selection of cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic beverages. Excellent leisure facilities complimentary for all guests including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and fully equipped air conditioned gym. There is also a very popular Health & Beauty centre - an appointment is highly recommended.
This is a very good hotel with excellent facilities in the best location. This hotel can arrange discounted golf rates at it's sister hotel a couple of miles from the City Centre - Contact hotel directly for this. (09/05 LP)
exteriorFrom the exterior it is a modern hotel which was completely rebuilt after a fire in 1972.
restaurantThe hotel has one restaurant which is renowned for excellent cuisine and unobtrusive service. The extensive a la carte menu is complimented by the chef's recommended menus. An excellent hot buffet braekfast is served. The restaurant is set with a back drop of the gardens and the river. During the summer months, weather premitting, table and chair's are on the patio overlooking the river for Al Fresco dining.
roomsThe bedrooms are all well appointed with en-suite bathroom, remote control colour television with a selection of in-house movies, trouser press, hairdryer, hospitality tray and minibar. The rooms are bright and stylish and most overlook the river and open meadows beyond.
