Rooms are comfortably furnished with dark wood furniture. Bedrooms in the original property include period features such as beams, wood paneling and fireplaces. In the Tap rooms and the Old Woodmill, bedrooms are of a more contemporary style. Some rooms overlook the pretty courtyard garden whilst others overlook St Dunstan's Street, North Street, the River Stour and the Westgate Tower.

exteriorThis is a traditional brick building, which is farmhouse in design. The hotel dates back to the 16th century with the original buildings being erected in 1403.
