generalThis is one of the most central hotels in the city and one of only a select few that are right on the popular Vaci street. It is within walking distance of several tourist attractions and so ideal for all leisure guests wanting to be in the thick of the action. The Privilege rooms are also good for guests wanting a higher standard of room at the hotel as well as the extras like mineral water, free newspaper and free internet connection (AHJ 0408).
lobbyThe lobby is set quite a way back from the main entrance on the vaci Utca. Guests walk through the bright modern cafe Vu and will see the long sleek reception desk to the right. The reception can also be reached from the back of the hotel where taxis drop off guests.
exteriorThis is a modern hotel with a concrete facade with red steel trimmings.
restaurantThe breakfast room is on the second floor and overlooks the main street. Recently reovated this dining room is retro in style and has a very nice feel to it with its stylish tables and chairs, lively colours, well presented buffet and canvas pictures on the walls. There is also a funky colourful new bar in the entrance to the hotel called Cafe Vu offering a a good variety of drinks and snacks for hotel guests. Guests can enjoy a coffee or a beer here whilst surfing the internet on the bright pink bar stools or relax at one of the many tables.
roomsThe Privilege rooms are modern in design and boast dark wooden furniture, brown carpets and pastel beige soft furnishings. All are of a very high 4* standard. The bathrooms have excellent showers and some have bath tubs. There is a room safe, tea and coffee making facilities, satelite TV, air conditioning and free internet connection. Guests also receive a free international paper each morning.
locationLocated in central Budapest, on the city's most famous street 'Vaci Utca', this friendly hotel is just 100 metres from the banks of the Danube and is surrounded by some of Budapest's best shops, restaurants and bars. It is also close to tram and underground stations.
