locationThe hotel is located right in the heart of the city, close to all the main shopping streets and tourist attractions on the Pest side. The nearest underground station is the Blaha Ter just opposite the hotel. The building itself stands on the junction of two of Budapest's main thoroughfares.
generalA property steeped in history with a central location. (AHJ0707)
lobbyThe reception area itself is small, however the lobby is now restored to reveal magnificent plaster work which compliments the high ceiling. There is a comfortable seating area in which guests can relax and enjoy a drink from the bar.
exteriorThe traditional facade is ornate and in keeping with the late 19th century art-nouveau style of the neighboring buildings.
restaurantThe restaurant is situated on the ground floor and is an impressive and elegant room in art-nouveau style, with a beautiful gallery running around the top overlooking the main dining room.
roomsThe rooms vary greatly in size, most are at least medium-sized but appear larger due to the high ceilings, some are small and some are large and very spacious. All of the bedrooms are decorated with coordinating bed covers and curtains. The bedrooms are all in very good condition and are decorated in checked colors. All bathrooms are medium sized with a pastel color scheme. Most bathrooms have a bath.
