The hotel is located in central Budapest very close to the main shopping street Vaci Ut. It is within very easy walking distance of the banks of the Danube and close to all the main metro lines and the city's best tourist attractions.
rooms
These are extremely large rooms and either have views of Erszebet square or Deak Ferenc pedestrian street. Art deco in style the blue and beige colour scheme is very light and contemporary and each room features a unique work of art. All rooms have desk and chair with high speed internet connection, fax and telephone. There is 24 hour room service as well as a mini bar, satellite TV with pay per view, safe, air condition, tea and coffee making facilities and a small sofa. The luxurious bathrooms have separate bath and shower and are as big as the adjoining room.
general
This historical property ranks amongst the finest class hotels in the city with an excellent location. It has a spa and swimming pool, good conference facilities and a bar that often has live jazz bands. (03.09 HJ)

The medium to large sized lobby is well furnished and has the luxurious feel associated with a hotel of this type. There is a sumptuous area to the rear which is for taking drinks and coffee which leads into the elegant fine dining restaurant.

The imposing building has a white facade dating back to the late period of the last century. It was formerly the police headquarters.
restaurant
The restaurant is a beautiful spacious room and serves outstanding international as well as local specialties. It also has an excellent wine menu and a good reputation in the city. There is a stunning stained glass dome with Le Bourbon restaurant and the Atrium cafe housed there.
