The hotel is located near the coastal village of Tanjung Aru, 8 mins drive west from Kota Kinabalu city centre. The hotel has its own seafront and faces the magical coralled islands of Tunku Abdul islands.

The lobby is large, open plan with large seating area. Dark hardwood is used for the ceiling beams and the roofing is constructed like a peak that gives a local 'longhouse' feel to the premises. The marble floors lead from the entrance to the pool area with comfortable seatings alongside.
