lobbyThe lobby is large in size and in good decorative order, decorated in a traditional style. Small seating area available.
generalThis is a good property ideally located for all of Birmingham attractions and for the NEC. The hotel also offers parking for 200 vehicles. Please note that the hotel is undergoing refurbishment, but this will only cause a minor disturbance. (KB 02/08)
exteriorThis is an impressive Grade II listed building, built by Lord Rowton in 1903. Car park available adjacent to the side of the hotel.
restaurantThe restaurant is on the ground floor and offers good international cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Adjacent to the restaurant there is a popular pub.
roomsAll rooms are medium in size and decorated in a simple basic style. All have full facilities such as direct dial telephone, colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathrooms are medium in size and in fair condition.
Please note that some rooms have recently been refurbished. These rooms are decorated to a good standard in chocolate browns and modern prints. Flat screen TV’s and more up-to-date facilities are featured in the refurbished rooms.
