Located on a hillside overlooking the Frenchman Bay and town of Bar Harbor. A short walk from the town of historic Bar Harbor,the ferry to Nova Scotia, and Acadia National Park.Comfortable rooms: The balconies offer views of Frenchman Bay and the surrounding islands. Bangor 49 miles, Boothbay Harbor 128 miles, Augusta 91 miles, Portland 178 miles and Boston 286 miles.

Many rooms offer views of the Ocean and some have large windows and private balconies. All rooms are medium in size and are equipped with remote control Color Cable TV's, clock radios, refrigerators and air conditioning.

One of the most well known restaurants is located at the hotel and features a spectacular view over Frenchman bay. Specialities include Down East recipes for lobster and other delightful seafood dishes. Eight sided, glass walled Rinehart Wonder View for a taste of some of the finest in traditional Down East cooking and the spectacular panorama that only the Wonder Views unique location can provide.
