general
This is a famous hotel of an international 5 star standard although cannot be compared with the best 5 star properties in town. The outdoor swimming pool is extremely popular in Summer. This is a pleasant, welcoming hotel which is keen to take great care of its guests. ME 04/09

The reception area is large and attractive in design. Two large lifts are available. A Japanese restaurant adjoins the ground floor.There is a number of sofas in the centre ensuring a comfortable check in.

This is one of the most recognisable hotels in the Middle East looking proudly out across the bay.

There is a Japanese restaurant as well as second restaurant serving international cuisine.
rooms
The rooms are large and well-equipped. Bathrooms are also large and clean, could have a bath or shower. Rooms have been refurbished in 2011 and are equipped with mini-bar, safe box, flat screen TV, hair dryer, luxury toiletries, and wireless internet.
location
This hotel is superbly located on the corniche, facing the Mediterranean Sea, and a 10 minute drive from downtown Beirut and close to the Hamra area and business district.
