This is a formidable family run hotel with laid back but professional service and unbeatable location. There is also a TV lounge, safe in reception, car and bicycle rental service and helpful receptionist. Ideal for budget travellers. (11/09 dv)

The building that houses the Hotel Peninsular was a convent of the Augustinian order and the monks' chambers were converted into guest rooms.

Rooms are simple, clean, well maintained and spacious with high ceilings, tiled floors and fully equipped with en suite bathroom, heating and air-conditioning. There is a Wi-Fi area. You cannot miss the picturesque interior patio which lends the hotel an unique character and you will find yourself spending as much time as possible in the courtyard.
