The Hotel Medinaceli occupies the old Palace of the Duke and Duchess of Medinaceli. It is located in the Gothic Quarter of the city, close to the Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya and the promenade. The interior spiral staircase -modern art style- as well as the interior decor of the corridors are worthy of mention.

The Hotel Medinaceli has decorated its rooms in a modern style, with plenty of natural light and deep red tones. All fully equipped with air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, Internet connections, and private safety box. The large and tastefully fitted bathrooms are finished in marble.

The hotel does not have a restaurant. There is a breakfast buffet room and lounge situated on the ground floor.
