The hotel occupies a prime position, standing in the city centre in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. It is near to the Cathedral, Las Ramblas, the port, the Picasso Museum and the best shopping areas.

All rooms are medium in size with fully equipped bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV and telephone. The decor is traditional and pleasant, with marble floors and dark wood furniture.

Gotico Hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is a breakfast room located on the ground floor. It is decorated with an ancient brick wall and dark wood furniture.
