The hotel is located in the centre of Abu Dhabi in the heart of the business district on Khalifa Street. It's approximately 35 km from the airport which takes between 30-40 minutes by car. This is an excellent central location.
rooms
The rooms are medium in size. They are furnished with classical dark wooden furniture with earth tones and modern amenities including en suite bathrooms, satellite TV, International direct dial telephone & voicemail, computer & facsimile data ports and a mini bar. All are in exceptional condition as are the bathrooms.
restaurant
The hotel offers 3 restaurants like the Mediterranean restaurant, the Moroccan restaurant and a restaurant serving International cuisine. Furthermore there's a cigar & champagne bar exuding an exclusive club feel.
general
More services and facilities include a gym, an outdoor swimming pool, sauna&steam rooms for men and women, meeting & events facilities and a business centre with a private office. This is a well located, and very well appointed hotel and comes highly recommended. (06/06 MK)
lobby
The lobby is large and elegantly decorated in a classical way with a large chandelier in the middle. The beautiful marble floor has a large star/sun pattern on it in different earthy and gold colours. There's a lobby lounge with sofas and casual seating and a piano.This is possibly the most visually attractive and luxurious lobby in the city.
exterior
It's an impressive modern silver high rise building. It has superb views to the sea on one side and views over the municipal gardens/parks on the other. The swimming pool terrace overlooks the Abu Dhabi skyline.
