The Ashburton is an excellent hotel for both Individual and groups touring. Used also by local corporate business. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and all weather tennis court. the hotel has complimentary Wifi internet connection throughout the hotel. there is a number of conference and function rooms available.
exterior
A low rise building set among four acres of attractive gardens. Plenty of car parking at no charge.
restaurant
An international a la carte restaurant serving a range of locally sourced produce. Sunday lunch and dinner service is buffet style. There is also an informal bar with Large screens showing sports channels.
rooms
Rooms are in good condition and many are configured as 2 x double bed. All rooms have television with Cable channels. All rooms are located on the ground floor. Many have recently been refurbished. SE1011
location
The Hotel is adjacent to the Ashburton Race course and golf course. A five minute drive to the Central retail area of the Town of Ashburton. The hotel is approximately 1:15 hours drive from Christchurch International airport (90kms) and similar to the Christchurch railway station from where the Tranzalpine train departs from.
