locationThis hotel is located on the ringroad of Amsterdam on the highway leading from Amsterdam to the airport, in the direction of the Hague-Schiphol-Amsterdam-Leeuwarden. It is, however, pleasantly surrounded by greenery and stands opposite the Nieuwe Meer lake. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the airport where there are direct train links to Central Station every 10 minutes, with the fast train taking 12 minutes and the slow train taking only 20 minutes.
roomsThe double glazed bedrooms are all medium sized, and have recently been redecorated. They all have air conditioning and the new colour scheme is blue and yellow with dark wood furnishings. All rooms have a desk, an armchair and are worthy of their first class classification. The modern bathrooms are also in good condition, but are a little small in size.
restaurantThe restaurant is located on the ground floor and offers an International menu as well as a delicious lunch buffet. It is very bright and welcoming with blue leather banquettes and red and yellow leather seats.
exteriorThe hotel is a modern, low rise block.
lobbyThe modern lobby is quite large with marble flooring and incorporates a few cosy armchairs, sofas as well as the “Orient Express” English style pub and a conservatory.
generalThis hotel is ideal for all travelers and there is a shuttle service to and from Schiphol airport giving easy access to the centre of Amsterdam. 04/2008/jg
