This is a lovely hotel in a great location and comes highly recommended. jg/10/2012

The lobby is large and welcoming with a concierge desk and plenty of seating and the welcoming bar leads directly from the lobby
exterior
This is a large and imposing modern building with a car park located at the front.
restaurant
The hotels main restaurant is located on the ground floor with views overlooking the canal and serves primarily a fish menu. It is an upmarket restaurant with plenty of seating in a relaxed atmosphere and is popular with both hotel guests and the public alike. Their is another brasserie style menu in the hotels lovely bar area, which has a beautiful fireplace for those cold winter evenings and a lovely terrace for those long, sunny days.
rooms
The bedrooms are medium to large in size and the decor depends on when the rooms were last updated with some being older and more traditional than the recently modernised rooms however, all are in very good condition and of the standard and with the facilities one expects from a superior 4 star property.
location
This hotel has an excellent location in the centre of Amsterdam but off the beaten track and in a fairly residential location overlooking one of Amsterdams finest canals.
